Casa Morgadinha presents itself as an exercise in balance between lightness and anchoring, between mass and transparency. The project starts from the idea of a refined white volume that rises above a natural base, creating a horizontal reading that articulates the construction with the surrounding terrain and garden.
This chromatic and material contrast – between smooth white and wooden slats – defines the identity of the dwelling, reinforcing its relationship with light and landscape. The ground-level materiality of the lower floor allows the house to take root in the site, while the lighter, more sculpted upper volume marks its presence with sobriety.
The functional organization reflects this duality: the ground floor concentrates the social spaces, open and communicating with the exterior; the upper floor houses the private area, composed of three bedrooms. The formal clarity and constructive coherence translate into an architecture of precision and serenity, guided by the sensitive relationship between form, matter, and context.
