Casa Alves emerges from the relationship between architecture, light, and landscape, drawing inspiration from the serenity of a beach environment. The project stems from the idea of ​​protection and seclusion, materialized in an “L”-shaped layout that shields the house from the road to the north and creates a more private interior, open only to the garden and the landscape.

This configuration allows the house to be structured around small patios, which filter the light, expand the visual relationship between spaces, and reinforce the volumetric composition. The natural slope of the land is used to integrate a semi-basement for parking, freeing up the ground floor for habitable spaces and outdoor living areas.

The light materiality – in shades of white and sand – is complemented by wooden accents that introduce texture, scale, and temperature, evoking the natural environment of beach houses. The result is a restrained and serene architecture, where the balance between form, light, and matter defines the character of the inhabited place.
